Our Executive Board



ANGELA ZHANG - President

Brother Angela Zhang is a junior at the University of Texas. She is working towards a degree in Mathematics and certificate in Elements of Computing. She is currently interning at STEMergy. Angela pledged in the Spring of 2017 and has served as Pledge Class Secretary, Vice President of Social for two semesters, and now President of the Iota chapter. As President, she hopes to strengthen the professional and philanthropy pillars. Angela has a strong passion for traveling, event planning and public speaking. Angela is engaged to her pledge brother, Trey Delafosse. Upon graduation, she hopes to work in the technology industry.


Brian Kim - Vice PResident

Brother Brian Kim is a junior Quantitative Finance and Mathematics major from Mansfield, Texas. He joined AKPsi his first semester at UT and has previously served as Secretary of his pledge class, Corporate Sponsorship Chair, and Professional Director. Brian is also a member of Texas for Expanding Opportunity and Zero to Fit nonprofit, and he is a part of an independent research project on campus performing attribution analysis on mutual funds and hedge fund managers. This past summer, Brian interned at Donovan Ventures, an oil & gas private equity firm, and next summer, he will be joining Wells Fargo Securities as a Summer Analyst at their commodities trading desk in Houston. In summer 2020, he will be riding his bike from Austin, Texas to Anchorage, Alaska as part of the Texas4000 team to raise awareness for cancer. Brian is passionate about football, poker, gastronomy, educational equity, and cancer outreach. He one day hopes to travel to visit famous restaurants across the world. 


robert tedjajuwana - Financials vp

Brother Robert Tedjajuwana is a junior studying Economics and Mathematics. He was born and raised in Indonesia before he went to Austin. Robert is passionate about finance, with previous work experience as an equity research analyst and a summer investment banking analyst. After he graduates, he plans to work in the finance industry. Robert is also passionate about traveling and has been to 10 countries. 


Brian kim - professional director

Brother Brian Han is a junior majoring in Management Information Systems and minoring in Marketing at the University of Texas at Austin from Dallas, Texas. He joined Alpha Kappa Psi as a sophomore during spring of 2018, seeking reliable brotherhood and an opportunity to grow as an individual. This past summer, he interned for Ascend Concepts in Fort Worth, Texas. During his leisure time, Brian enjoys playing basketball, swimming, traveling and spending quality time with friends and family. After graduation, he plans to pursue a career path as an analyst or consultant at a tech company.


Bianca Manciu - treasurer

Brother Bianca Manciu is a senior at The University of Texas from El Paso, Texas. She is currently studying Marketing with a minor in Management Information Systems and pursuing the Elements of Computing Certificate at UT. Bianca joined Alpha Kappa Psi in the Fall of her freshman year in 2015. She currently works for The Daily Dot, which is a news site geared toward millennials, as their eCommerce Analyst Intern. Some things that Bianca enjoys are finding new places to eat, books, and coffee shops. Upon graduation, Bianca hopes to pursue a career in consulting. 


Riya Gandhi - Philanthropy director

Riya Gandhi is a junior at The University of Texas at Austin studying Advertising with a business minor at The Stan Richards School of Advertising and PR. She loves traveling, reading, working out, and, most importantly, raising money for the kids at Dell Children's Medical Hospital. She's also highly involved with Texas Thon and is excited to have a marketing internship this summer. She's looking forward to having a great semester through serving and impacting our community on and off campus.


Victor xu - Director of alumni relations

Brother Victor Xu is a junior marketing major. He was born and raised in Sugar Land, TX. Victor joined the Iota chapter in Spring 2018. This summer he will be interning with Reynold American as a trade marketing intern. Some things Victor enjoys are traveling, playing Overwatch, and drinking tea. Victor hopes to pursue a career in sales and marketing. 


LAUREL KAVANagh - social director

Brother Laurel Kavanagh is a Junior at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing a degree in Marketing with a minor in Management Information Systems. She joined Alpha Kappa Psi in Fall of 2017 and has since served as Rush Captain and VP of Marketing. Next Summer, she will be interning at Dimensional Fund Advisors in Austin. In her spare time, Laurel enjoys spending time with her family and friends, trying new foods, and exploring the city.


Jacob wilson - Marketing Director

Brother Jacob Wilson is a sophomore accounting major born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. He became apart of the Iota Chapter in the Spring semester of 2018. Outside of school he enjoys discovering new music, finding new skills to develop (Python coding is his most recent venture), spending time with his AKPsi brothers, and a summer activity called drum corps. Jacob hopes to pursue a career in either professional accounting or management consulting. 


Karna shah - Technology Director

Brother Karna Shah is a junior Management Information Systems major from Southlake, Texas. He joined Alpha Kappa Psi in the spring of 2018 as a sophomore, and is also pursuing a certificate in computer science. Karna is very interested new technologies for the future, especially to shape the healthcare industry. This past summer he interned for Alcon Labs in Fort Worth, and next summer he will intern with EY in their Forensics departments. Some of the things he likes is explore Austin, try new restaurants, and different sports.


Michelle Ayala - historian

Paulina Barron is a 3rd year iMPA student who is pursuing her bachelor's and master's in accounting. She seeks to become a CPA and work for the Big Four upon graduation. Paulina joined Alpha Kappa Psi her freshman year, Fall of 2016, in hopes of expanding her network and exploring the different majors offered at McCombs. Through AKPsi, she was able to discover her passion for accounting and has developed strong friendships over the years. Paulina is currently working as a Program Assistant for UT RecSports where she leads the finances for all 42 sponsored club sports at the school. She is also involved in another student organization called Texas Darlins and enjoys to spend her free time in outdoor activities here in Austin. One of her favorite activities is paddling boarding on Lady Bird lake with friends and family. 


Andy lin - secretary

Brother Andy Lin is a sophomore Finance major who was born in New York and raised in China. He served as the pledge class president of his Fall 2018 rush class and continues to serve Alpha Kappa Psi this semester as the secretary. Last summer, Andy studied abroad in Prague as part of the International Management Program in which he had the chance to spend two months in Europe. This upcoming summer, Andy will be working with Thrivent in Minneapolis as a Financial Planning Intern. Volunteering, tennis, photography, and traveling are some of his favorite hobbies. Andy has lived in three continents and visited 14 countries to date, and he plans on stepping foot in all seven continents by the time he turns 25.
