Our Executive Board



ANGELA ZHANG - President

Brother Angela Zhang is a senior at the University of Texas working towards a degree in Mathematics. Angela is currently a construction technology consultant at Procore Technologies. She has previously interned at Social Solutions (Sales & Marketing), STEMergy (Director) & Troilo Law Firm (Office Administration). Angela pledged in the Spring of 2017 and has served as Pledge Class Secretary, Vice President of Social for two semesters, and now President of the Iota chapter. As President, she hopes to unify the three pillars and create innovative opportunities for current members. Angela has a strong passion for traveling, event planning and public speaking. Angela is engaged to her pledge brother, Trey Delafosse. Upon graduation, she hopes to work in the technology industry as a sales engineer.


Treeank Patnaik - Vice-President

Brother Treeank Patnaik is a third-year student and was born and raised in Sugar Land, Texas. Treeank is majoring in Mechanical Engineering and is also pursuing certificates in Applied Statistical Modeling and Business Foundations. He joined Alpha Kappa Psi in fall of 2017, and has previously served as the Technology Director of the Iota Chapter. This past summer, he completed an internship with a software consulting firm in Chicago called TruQua Enterprises, which specializes in designing and implementing SAP solutions. During his internship, Treeank utilized predictive analytics and machine learning technology to generate business solutions and develop products on SAP Analytics Cloud. He wants to continue to work in this industry and hopes to utilize his diverse academic background to create unique products in the future. Outside of AKPsi, Treeank is also a member of the Texas Wranglers and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. In his free time, he is passionate about watching basketball and exploring the fields of psychology, sociology, and philosophy. Treeank also loves to travel, and try new types of food.


Jacob Wilson - professional director

Brother Jacob Wilson is a junior accounting major born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. He became apart of the Iota Chapter in the Spring semester of 2018. Outside of school he enjoys discovering new music, finding new skills to develop (Python coding is his most recent venture), spending time with his AKPsi brothers, and a summer activity called drum corps. Jacob hopes to pursue a career in either professional accounting or management consulting. 

Throughout his life he has gained a passion for math and the fascinating nuances of Accounting and Finance. He hopes to further develop these skills as he pursues his degree and progresses towards finding a career in Investment Banking.


Naazneen Ibtehaj - Philanthropy director

Brother Naz Ibtehaj is a junior and Biomedical Engineering major. She joined Alpha Kappa Psi during the Spring of 2018 during her freshman year and was part of her pledge class philanthropy committee. Apart from philanthropy in Alpha Kappa Psi, Naz enjoys volunteering in BOLT, a club focused on STEM learning in local Austin elementary schools. This semester, Naz hopes to grow the Philanthropy pillar and increase AKPsi’s community outreach. Using the professional and leadership skills she has gained from Alpha Kappa Psi, Naz wishes to pursue graduate school and a career in developing medical devices.


Adrian Vasquez - Social director

Brother Adrian Vasquez is a sophomore at the University of Texas at Austin, aiming for a degree in Marketing. Adrian pledged Alpha Kappa Psi in the Fall of 2018 and he was his Pledge Class Social Chair. As the Fall 2019 Social Director for the Iota Chapter, Adrian hopes to bring the chapter closer and take advantage of all the opportunities the city of Austin has to offer its college students. Adrian’s interest include movies, music, and art. He has a huge collection of Blu-rays, vinyls, and books and aspires to have a huge personal library of all sorts of media when he’s older. Upon graduating, Adrian plans to move to Los Angeles or New York and work in the entertainment industry.


Ana Hernandez - Marketing director

Brother Ana Hernandez is a junior at the University of Texas working towards a degree in Marketing. Ana is currently working with Bumble as their Campus Director. She has previously interned with a film produced here in Austin (Social Media Director) and Trouaville Inc. (Office Administration). Ana pledged in the Fall of 2017 and has served as Pledge Class Philanthropy chair and is currently the VP of Marketing alongside her pledge brother Ryan Clem. As VP of Marketing, she hopes to make AKPsi known across campus in the best way possible and recruit students who are a direct representation of our three pillars. Ana has a strong passion for traveling, fashion, and social media. Upon graduation, she hopes to work in the fashion marketing industry


Abbigayle Richards - Alumni Relations

Brother Abbigayle Richards is a sophomore at the McCombs School of Business where she plans to major in MIS. She pledge in the fall of 2018 and her favorite part about AKPsi is the brotherhood. This past sumeer, she worked as a head swim coach in her hometown of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky. In her free time, she enhoys playing guitar, writing music, and performing. Brother Abbigayle was awarded the McCombs Next Top Talent's Miss Congeniality award in the Spring of 2019 performing an original song.

Madeline Purdy - secretary

Brother Madeline Purdy is a sophomore working towards a degree in management information systems and a certificate in the elements of computing. She joined Alpha Kappa Psi in spring of 2019 where she was pledge class president. This past summer, she interned at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. Outside of AKPsi, Maddie plays for the UT club field hockey team, enjoys exploring all the food and music in Austin, and traveling around the world. Maddie hopes to pursue a career in the technology industry.


BRandon tran - historian

Brother Brandon Tran is a sophomore majoring in Business Honors at McCombs. He joined Alpha Kappa Psi in the fall of 2018. He loves capturing moments and considers his camera one of his best friends. He has a passion for all kinds of artistic endeavors, particularly photography, graphic design, and music production. In his free time, he likes to play his guitar and sing.
